Muscular Strength and Endurance for Teens

Mind-body exercise like Pilates can be essential to the development in mind and body of pre-teens and teenagers. This mat-based workshop incorporates Toning Balls and the Fitness Circle and will provide tons of exercise that can be used to create fun and enjoyable workouts designed to keep teens engaged and challenged them both physically and mentally. In youth, overall body awareness can be beneficial, good posture promotes improved body image and proper breathing techniques help with stress reduction. These issues and more will addressed with simples functional exercises that focus on stability, balance and flexibility in a fun, quick moving routine designed to promote active lifestyle choices.
Athletic Conditioning on the Stability Chair!

The Stability Chair" can be an ultra-effective, compact piece of equipment for specially designed athletic conditioning workouts. Learn a variety of exercises that can benefit any level of athlete by retraining imbalanced muscles and building on the strength and agility of the whole body. This well-rounded workout provides functional movements against spring resistance in a variety of positions that train core stability while working bilaterally, unilaterally or reciprocally with the limbs to enhance sport-specific performance or everyday life.
Flex·Band® & Fitness Circle®

This hands-on workshop shows how to add support, variety and challenge to existing STOTT PILA TES Matwork TM routines using the Fitness Circle® resistance ring and Hex-Bands exerciser. Learn how to use these simple tools to add dynamic resistance, increase torso stability, and tone arms and legs, with emphasis on the goals of the exercises, movement patterns, breath patterns and correct alignment.
