In Ipplepen. If you turn into Moor Road (opposite the Texico Garage) from the main Totnes Road (A381) follow the lane straight up and over the hill. The lane will go down and bear round to the left and you will come to a cross roads. Take the left turn into Dornafield Road and the Studio is on your right just at the top of the hill. Pull into the driveway then take the gateway on your right and park in front of the large barn.. the studio is on the right hand side of the main barn. Door is on the side.
Alternatively approach through Ipplepen turning right at the Methodist Church, follow this road up until it turns into a lane keep going and the studio is at the top of the hill on your left.. pull into the driveway then take the right hand gate. There is a postcode below but be aware it will not take you straight to the door!
Comfortable gym clothes, no long strings, hair tied back with a band not a clip. On the Reformers please wear Pilates Non Slip socks or bare feet. I do have some for sale in the studio. Bring some water if you would like for after class. Please take your shoes off as you enter the studio to help us keep the floor safe for bare feet.
Mat Pilates is great if you have specific needs or Health Concerns or have had major injuries or surgery. Its always good to have tried Mat before Reformer, but its not essential. Reformer is different, more dynamic as the machine moves, but providing you have good range of movement and no major health concerns Reformer will work for you. You do need to be able to get up and down onto the reformers and they are close to the floor. When on the Reformers its really important to listen to instructions and follow them... not doing so can result in jury or a fall. They move, and not always in the direction you expect!
